Our living situation significantly influences our quality of life and mental health. The non-profit organization Nestmacher supports elderly and impaired people and their families in creating a comfortable and welcoming living environment. We listen, plan, and design the facility according to individual needs.
Our offer for elderly people
As we age, our own home becomes increasingly important. It's not just a place of retreat, but also a central component of our quality of life. But when a move is imminent, challenges often arise: - Will my favorite armchair fit in the new home? - Do I need different furniture? - How do I organize the move without family help? We support seniors with advice and assistance – from moving planning to custom interior design. Our goal is to create an age-appropriate, personalized living environment where they feel comfortable, safe, and secure right from the start. We also improve the living atmosphere in existing living situations. Family members are relieved of the burden, and if family support is lacking, we take on this task with heart and expertise. Who are the Nestmacher?
Founded in 2024, the non-profit association Nestmacher is a team of experts in holistic interior design, Feng Shui, home and color psychology, and senior living, bringing with them a broad range of scientific knowledge and practical experience. Our commitment is supported by the pro bono work of experts and generous donations.
We create a loving and comfortable home and support people in furnishing their apartments so that they feel safe and secure from the very beginning. We bring dignity, well-being, and relief to society.
We offer our services in the
Northwestern Switzerland (BS, BL, AG, SO)
For our work we charge a fee of CHF 70.-/hour.
With EL or Caritas card: price upon request.
We are currently in the funding phase to be able to offer our «Silbernest» program free of charge to seniors affected by poverty and impairment. We would be grateful for your financial support.
